Sensorless Circuit for Brushless DC Motor using Third Harmonic back Electromotive Force
Third Harmonic Back EMF method is chosen to operate brushless DC motors. The designed circuit drive is able to launch, detect position and control the motor speed and in case the rotor shaft is locked, the motor stops automatically and then starts up.

Three Phase Seven Layer Switch Reluctance Motor (SLSRM)
This motor consists of seven magnetically independent stator layers, in which each layer includes a set of 4 by 4 stator/rotor poles. In this SLSRM, the three layers are energized together to produce high torque and also decrease the torque ripple in comparison with the one layer conventional SRM

8/6 two layer Switched Reluctance Motor/field-assisted generator
A configuration for a switched reluctance machine that consists of two magnetically stator and rotor layers, where each stator set includes eight salient poles with windings wrapped around them, while the rotor comprises of six salient poles with different arc lengths and no windings. This motor includes the two sets are connected dependently. In this connection the stator poles in each layer can have both North and South Pole configurations

4/2 Two phase SR Motor
A two phase SR motor configuration with a high starting torque, and the achievement of using centrifugal switch for fast turn-on time advancements.
The fast acting switch will cause the motor to have a larger overlap area between rotor and stator poles at the beginning; hence the stating torque will be higher than
a regular SR motor.

12/8 field-assisted Switched Reluctance Generator
A 12/8 field-assisted Switched Reluctance Generator (SRG) modeled to figure out its characteristics, then simulation analysis is carried out using 3 dimensional Finite Element Method (FEM). Meanwhile, the output voltage of this SRG is extracted employing simulation data and curve fitting techniques. Quintuple-Set Switched Reluctance Motor (QSSRM)
A quintuple-set switched reluctance motor (QSSRM) for high torque/ripples and high torque/volume applications.
The experimental results and comparative study validate the proposed design operation. The test results indicate that the proposed structure offers an enhanced performance in terms of higher torque density.
